Darwin&rsquo;den sonra baz\u0131 biyologlar do\u011fal se&ccedil;ilim teorisini &ccedil;arp\u0131t\u0131p, onu <strong>kat\u0131 adaptasyonculuk<\/strong> doktrinine ba\u011flad\u0131lar. Ama Darwin t&uuml;m se&ccedil;ilimin do\u011fal (uyarlanabilir) oldu\u011funu s&ouml;ylememi\u015fti; yaln\u0131zca, do\u011fal se&ccedil;ilimin baz\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fimlerin kayna\u011f\u0131 oldu\u011funu ve uyarlanabilir de\u011fi\u015fimlerin neden meydana geldi\u011fini a&ccedil;\u0131klayabildi\u011fini s&ouml;ylemi\u015fti. Modern biyologlar, de\u011fi\u015fim i&ccedil;in farkl\u0131 mekanizmalar &ouml;ne s&uuml;rd&uuml;ler (tarafs\u0131z se&ccedil;ilim, genetik s&uuml;r&uuml;klenme, kurucu etkisi vb.) ve bizzat Darwin de cinsel se&ccedil;ilimin &ouml;nemli olabilece\u011fini d&uuml;\u015f&uuml;n&uuml;yordu.
